Returning to Kazakhstan, M-1 Global continues their Challenge series at the Barys Arena on June 28. The mega-promotion will be hosting three championship fights.
In the five-round main event, Tennessee’s Nate Landwehr will look to defend his featherweight strap for the second time when he puts his six-fight winning streak on the line against a familiar foe in the Russian Viktor Kolesnik, who has won back-to-back fights since their first meeting in 2017.
Also made official were two other title tilts. Hometown kid and welterweight beltholder Shavkat Rahmonov looks to turn away Tiago Varejao, from Brazil. And Aleksandr Osetrov and Sergey Morozov vie for the vacant bantamweight crown.
