Yair Rodriguez (11-2, 5 KO) proved he belongs on the UFC roster after missing action for 18 months following disputes with company brass.
The dynamic striker out of Mexico headlined UFC Fight Night 139 in Denver alongside Chan Sung Jung (14-5, 4 KO). Both combatants were bloodied and took turns stealing momentum through all five rounds.
It all came to an end with one second to go in Round 5, when Rodriguez scored the knockout with a reverse elbow that was as exhilarating as it was implausible.
