This Saturday, UFC Fight Night 140, is coming to us from from Estadio Mary Terán de Weiss in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Headlined by Neil Magny and Santiago Ponzinibbio, there are a handful of interesting matchups in support of the main event.

On the outside looking in, the supporting cast making up the undercard and prelims don’t seem to have the biggest and best names available but that doesn’t mean they’re not still entertaining fights to watch.

Let’s take a look at what matchups are sure to be the best of the best this weekend.

Sit back, relax, and watch the carnage ensue.

Michel Prazares vs. Bartosz Fabinski

Welterweight division

Styles make fights and that’s exactly what we have when Michel Prazares (25-2) goes up against Bartosz Fabinski (14-2).

They both have very similar styles which consists of constantly swarming and clinching their opponent. They are both excellent grapplers with the kind of top game that has broken many men. This fight should consist of many takedown attempts and eventually a few will land. From there the fun begins.

Both men are also riding seven fight win streaks meaning they both will be highly motivated to keep their streaks alive.

This matchup will be a grinding affair but it should also be one that is extremely physical and filled with violence. If that doesn’t scream must-see television to you, then I don’t know what will.

Khalil Rountree vs. Johnny Walker

Light heavyweight division

Khalil Rountree, who sports a record of 7-1-0, 1 NC, is never in a boring fight.

Either knocking someone out or getting knocked out himself, his fights are entertaining no matter the opposition.

This Saturday is sure to be no different as he takes on Johnny Walker (14-3). Between these two men they have competed in a combined 27 professional matches and only three times gone the distance (twice for Rountree; once for Walker).

If your looking for a fight that will display high level jiu-jitsu, wrestling and overall skill then this fight most -likely won’t be for you. On the other hand if you’re a fan of knockouts then this is a fight you need to tune into.

This has knockout of the night written all over it.

Ricardo Lamas vs. Darren Elkins

Featherweight division

There’s a reason why Darren Elkins’ (24-6) nickname is “The Damage.” It’s because he usually inflicts a lot of it. In his las four bouts, he’s earned two Performance of the Night bonuses.

This Saturday night he’ll have a chance to do just that as he takes on Ricardo Lamas (18-7). Throw away the textbooks about how things should be done in a UFC fight and just sit back enjoy this one.

Lamas has been in his share of unforgettable moments. Who can forget the infamous scene in the cage when he took on Max Holloway? With just a few seconds remaining in the contest, after giving us close to three rounds of beautiful violence, both men walked right up to the center of the cage. They through their hands in the air as to say “let’s knock each other out,” and then proceeded to give us 10 seconds of jaw-dropping action.

Sure, Lamas went on to lose that fight but that’s not the point. He was willing to go toe-to-toe with one of the baddest men on the planet.

I’m not quite sure if a scrap with Elkins will be just as good, but get yourself a good seat. It’s still can’t-miss stuff.
